We started sandboxsc with one belief: the best way to learn is to build something real. Not a pitch deck. Not a proof of concept that lives and dies in a slide. A product — something you can open, use, break, and iterate on.
Today, we're announcing our first ever event. On April 25, 2026, we're hosting the sandboxsc × Reve Makeathon at the University of Southern California. It's a one-day sprint where students come together, pick up Reve, and ship something by the end of the day.
Why Reve?
We've been watching Reve since early on. It's one of the few AI creative tools that feels like it was built for people with a point of view — not just people who want to move fast. It shapes itself around the creator rather than flattening the creative process.
When we reached out about partnering on this event, the conversation felt immediate. Reve's mission and ours overlap in a specific way: we both believe the distance between an idea and a made thing should be as small as possible.
Every participant will get full access to Reve for the day. The Reve team will be on-site. And whatever you build — it's yours.

Spots are limited. We're keeping this intentionally small so every team gets real attention — from us, from Reve, and from the mentors we're bringing in.
If you've been waiting for the right moment to build something, this is it.
